The external conflict in "the colomber" by Dino Buzzati happens between the colomber and Stefano. The internal conflict happens within Stefano In the "The colomber" by Dino Buzzati, the antagonist is the colomber.
"The colomber" takes place in the sea. "It was a splendid sunny day, and the sea was calm" this is the line which contributed more in the setting.
There is an irony in "The colomber". For example "It is the fish that sailors fear above all others."
