3x+4=6+7x I need help on this question I'm in algebra and it's confusing

3x+4=6+7x

Subtract 3x from both sides

4 = 6 + 4x

subtract 6 from both sides

-2 = 4x

Divide by 4 on both sides

-1/2 = x
